Wes Clark (baritone, 1999-2000,03,05) is heading up an effort to have special TBDBITL license plates offered by the State of Ohio. The goal behind this plate idea is to: 1) generate more money for TBDBITL and 2) allow people to show-off one of the greatest music organizations wherever they go.

The BMV requires 1000 signatures, and once the signatures are obtained, the idea is presented to the Ohio General Assembly for approval. Each field on the petition form must be filled out completely, or the signature for that person will be rejected. Wes recommends using your driver's license number (not your PLATE number) instead of SSN, for obvious reasons.

We are asking TBDBITL members to help collect signatures for this soon so we can have this completed by the end of 2007. By signing the petition, each person is stating that they SUPPORT THE IDEA, not that they intend to purchase a plate; though that would be nice.
