2010 TBDBITL Reunion - FAQ
Q: I am registering to Play and March at the Reunion. Do I need to purchase a game ticket?
A: NO. If you are playing and marching at the Reunion, you are a guest of the OSUMB and the Athletic Department, and are granted free admission to the game.
Q: What if I am registering online, but want to pay by check?
A: You should still complete the online registration but check the box labeled "Pay by Check". Once your registration is submitted, you must then mail your check to the address shown.
Q: The online registration form is charging me for dues and I already paid them.
A: If this happens, do NOT submit your registration. Instead, contact Susan Franks (who is processing Dues payments) either by phone (603- 581-2709) or email (SusanFranks@tbdbitl.com). Once your dues status is resolved, you can then complete your registration. [Dues processing is current as of July 7.]
Q: I don't have a PayPal account.
A: You don't need one. You MAY use a PayPal account if you have one. It is an option. We selected PayPal to process the online credit card transactions because they are careful with financial information and they provide low-cost service for non-profit groups.
Q: What if I don't want TBDBITL to know my credit card information?
A: TBDBITL does not get to "see" your payment information. We transfer your session to the PayPal processing site. They will prompt you for your information over a secure (encrypted) connection. All we will get to see is a report showing your name, TBDBITL number, and how much you paid.
Q: I want to make sure I'm included in the Script Ohio lottery. When does my registration have to be submitted by?
A: Online registrations must be submitted by 11:59 PM August 2. Paper registrations must be postmarked (US Mail, not FedEx, not UPS) by August 2 to be eligible for the Script Ohio and Ticket lotteries. Additionally, any type of Signature Confirmation delivery may delay the processing of your registration.
Q: I completely forgot to online submit/mail in my registration form by August 2. Am I still able to participate in the Reunion?
A: YES! You may register for the Reunion as late as Saturday morning of the event. You will still be able to participate in the Pre-game and Halftime performances, and you will march everything except Script Ohio, which is at the very end of the Halftime performance.
Q: I need to order a shirt and hat from Oasis Embroidery, but I don't want to pay the shipping costs. What should I do?
Please contact Oasis and order your items. You will need to make arrangements with them to pick up on Friday night at rehearsal.
Q: I need to change some of my information...
A; If this is REUNION-related information, please contact Sara (see her annual letter). If this is NON-Reunion-related (eg, change of address, name, email, etc.) please send an email to Postmaster@tbdbitl.com
Q: How does all this affect requests for "extra" tickets?
A: Rather than including a second check for extra tickets, as in previous years, you will just indicate you want them. After the lottery, you will be contacted concerning purchase.
Q: Can I sit with the band in the stands and play, but not march?
A: No, the Athletic Department does not allow us to offer such an option. Please consider the "Play & March Halftime" option (no Script Ohio) as a way to still participate.
Q. What is the best way to contact the Pre-Registration Chair?
Since most of the Reunion processing is handled during the late-night hours, email (registration@tbdbitl.com) is the best way to get a speedy response. Voice mail messages will be returned in 1 to 2 business days. While waiting for a reply, please re-read the back of the Reunion Letter, as the answer is most likely printed there.
Q: "Say, this whole registration thing would be much better if only..."
A: Any and all suggestions (and criticisms) are welcome. Due to time (and ability) constraints, our process is far from perfect. Please share your thoughts and ideas. Send them to Registration@tbdbitl.com, Webmaster@tbdbitl.com. or Postmaster@tbdbitl.com
