Doyle Herbert Baum

January 12, 1932 - May 3, 2015

Doyle H. Baum, age 83, of Canton, Ohio passed away Sunday May 3, 2015. He was born January 12, 1932 in Mapleton, Ohio to the late Ralph and Viva (Snyder) Baum. Doyle was retired from Louisville City Schools, were he had been a Guidance Counselor at the Middle School. He served as the Louisville Middle School band director and assistant band director for the High School. Doyle was very active in the Canton Federation of Musicians. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and was an Army Veteran.

Doyle was also preceded in death by his wife Jean (Tourno) Baum in 1993 and his brother, Harold Baum. He is survived by two daughters; Susan (Robert) Phillips and Sharon Dowling, two brothers; Dale (Shirley) Baum and Wilber (Judy) Baum, three grandchildren; Kelley Phillips, Joseph Dowling and Nicole Phillips.

Funeral services will be 2 pm Saturday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2551 55th St NE, Canton, Ohio 44721 with Pastor Mark Williams officiating. Calling hours will 12-2 pm Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Canton, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Michael J. Doyle was a member of the marching band in 1950 and 1951. He played Baritone.
