Wallace Lloyd Bostwick

November 21, 1923 - December 30, 2017

On December 30, 2017, Wallace Lloyd Bostwick, age 94 passed away peacefully at home with his wife of 70 years by his side. He was born in Chillicothe, Ohio on November 21, 1923. In 1944 he graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He then served in the US Navy in the Philippines in the final days of WWII. After the war he married the love of his life, Josephine. Over time he held jobs in Ohio, New York, and finally California. He retired from Beckman Instruments in 1992 after 24 years of service. Lloyd was active in his church and a 68 year member of the American Chemical Society. Lloyd and Jo enjoyed traveling and meeting friends and family all over the world. He is survived by his wife, five children, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

We will celebrate Lloyd's life at First Presbyterian Church, Fullerton on Saturday, January 13 at 1 PM. A private burial will be held later at Miramar National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Deacon's Fund at First Presbyterian Church Fullerton or The Ohio State University Fund for Scholarships.

Wallace was a member of the marching band in 1942. He played cymbals.
