Mark Perks

April 22, 1958 - July 16, 2014

Mark Perks, age 56, of Upper Arlington, passed away on July 16, 2014. He was born on April 22, 1958 in The United Kingdom.

Mark is survived by his mother, Jean Perks; sons, Kyle and Aaron Perks; siblings, David (Judy) Perks, Leslie Fisher, Robert Perks, Kenneth (Jenny) Perks, JoAnn (John) Callen, Douglas, Richard and Raymond Perks; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Mark was a 5 year member of The OSU Marching Band and member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. He was a huge advocate for Greek Life and played a significant role in keeping the fraternity going. Mark was also a member of North West Kiwanis Club for many years.

Friends may call from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 pm on Saturday, July 19, 2014 and 2 - 4 pm on Sunday, July 20, 2014, where A Memorial Service will begin at 4 pm at the Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chase Bank. Please make checks out to Chase or JoAnn Callen. Please note in the memo line "In memory of Mark Perks".

Mark was a member of the marching band in 1976 through 1979 and played trumpet.
