Robert H. Seeds

November 17, 1890 - June 4, 1970

Robert H. Seeds, 79, Former Silver Lake councilman, died Thursday at St. Thomas Hospital.

Born in Columbus, Mr. Seeds of 2846 Hastings Road, lived in Siver Lake for 43 years.

He retired in 1956 as a checmist at Goodyear after 30 years. He was a councilman from 1928 to 1940.

A member of Joppa Lodge F&AM, Mr. Seeds had played trumpet in the first marching band of The Ohio State University, where he graduated.

He leaves his wife, Martha M.; three daughters, Mrs. Lynette Winemiller of Ghent, Mrs. Roberta Christman of Silver Lake, and Mrs. Lenore Wallace of Ghent; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother Ian of Mansfield, and three sisters: Mrs. charme Speaks of Westport, Connecticut, Mrs. Fanchon Howard, and BGrs. Anita Brenneman, both of Miami.

Private services will be Saturday at Bollow's Falls Chapel. Burial will be in Crown Hill cemetery. There will be no calling hours.

Robert was a member of the marching band in 1910. He played trumpet.
