Robert Bode Stickrath Sr.

December 1, 1925 - July 9, 2018

Dr. Robert Bode Stickrath, age 92, of Dayton, Ohio, formerly of Marietta, Ohio, died July 9, 2018.

He graduated from Marietta High School in 1943 and The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1948.

He served as an Officer in the U. S. Navy from 1951 to 1954.

He was active in the Christ United Methodist Church in Marietta for many years, later joining the Christ United Methodist Church in Kettering, Ohio. His other memberships included The Ohio State University Alumni Association, TBDBITL, Marietta Country Club, the American and Ohio Dental Associations, the Muskingum Valley Dental Association, and the Marietta Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Johnson Stickrath, his tennis, golf, travel and dancing partner of 70 years. A devoted family man, he is also survived by sons Robert (Cherie) and Thomas (Denise), and daughter Nancy Pacenta (Jim). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Bob was a member of the marching band in 1943. He played Clarinet.
