D. Robert 'Bob' Weimer, age 70, September 17, 2013.

Born in Columbus, Ohio on June 13, 1943 to parents Dick and Clara Weimer. Survived by loving wife of 46 years, Marilyn Weimer; son, Bobby (Kristen) Weimer; daughter, Carol (Corry) Morris; grandchildren, Braden, Carson, Delaney, and Carley; brother Jim Weimer.

Bob was a graduate of Linden McKinley High School, Class of 1961, then received his BS of Education Degree in 1966 and his MA Degree in 1973 from The Ohio State University. Member of The Ohio State University Marching Band. Retired instrumental music teacher with 35 years of service in Columbus City Schools, including Northland High School for 5 years and his beloved Woodward Park Middle School for 24 years.

Honorary fraternity member of Phi Beta MU, Kappa Kappa, Psi, and Phi Mu Alpha.

Former member and choir director of Westerville Christian Church and present member of Beechwold Christian Church, where he was active in the church orchestra. Member of the Brass Band of Columbus for 14 years and member of TCA, TTOS, and LCC of A. Long-time youth soccer coach.

Visitation will be held Monday 2-4 and 6-9 pm at the Beechwold Christian Church, 280 Morse Road, Columbus, Ohio 43214, where funeral service will be held Tuesaday, 10 am. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Bob was a member of the marching band from 1961 through 1967 and from 1972 through 1973 (9 years). He played trumpet.
