A Remembrance by Gary Rectenwald

Robb was a trombone player in Q-Row. During Robb's 5 years in the OSUMB, he attended 5 bowl games: 1993: Holiday Bowl; 1994 and 1995: Citrus Bowl; 1996: Rose Bowl; 1997: Sugar Bowl.

Robb was in good health and his unexpected passing was likely due to an infection in his bloodstream in combination with a spleen removal several years ago.

Robb is fondly remembered as a very happy and fun-loving guy who always had a smile on his face. All who spent time with him knew of his strong love and devotion to God, his family, his friends, The Ohio State University and TBDBITL. Robb was a very loving, compassionate, caring and faithful friend, son, brother, father and husband. In turn, Robb was truly loved and respected by all who knew him. Robb was an enthusiastic Buckeye fan as a child and his love for Ohio State only grew stronger through the years. TBDBITL gave Robb the greatest sense of pride and joy throughout his life. As a tribute to Robb and his love for Ohio State and TBDBITL, the final song played at Robb's memorial service was "Fight The Team."

Although Robb was a chemistry major at The Ohio State University, soon after graduation, he developed a passion for the insurance business and was employed by Farmer's Insurance for the past 10+ years..

Robb and Tricia Lott were married in Akron, Ohio in 2000 and they have 2 wonderful sons. Robb was so deeply loved and will be dearly missed. He will always hold a special place in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him.
