Daniel Joseph Zola

July 22, 1940 - September 29, 2024

We are sad to announce the death of Daniel J. Zola, 84, who passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024, surrounded by family.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cheryl; granddaughter, Haley; and parents, Joseph and Bernice Zola.

Dan was well known in the Cleveland area for his career in corporate/tv/radio advertising. He also served in the Air National Guard. Dan’s true passion was his 19-piece swing band, The Dan Zola Orchestra, that he led for 60 years.

Dan is survived by his loving wife, Sally; Children, David (Lisa), Greg (Renee); Grandchildren, Logan, Piper, Maddie (Josiah), Morgan; and step-children-grandchildren-great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Faulhaber Funeral Home, 7915 Broadview Road, Broadview Hts. on Friday, October 11th.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at Church of the Assumption, 9183 Broadview Road, Broadview Heights, on Saturday, October 12th, at 10:00 a.m. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.

Interment West Richfield Cemetery.

Dan was a member of the marching band in 1959 and 1960. He played Trumpet.
